Open exclusively to students currently enrolled in the 36-week Kriya Training Program.
During this retreat, you’ll receive Major Kriya — also known as AE Kriya — the prime technique in the lineage of Kriya Yoga.
Many traditions describe their methods as the “superhighway to enlightenment” or “the one true path.” Kriya Yogis say this about Major Kriya, too. I can’t tell you who’s right but what I can say, from lived experience, is that the Kriya path works.
It’s a practice made for householders — people with families, jobs, pets, deadlines, and grocery lists. It doesn’t ask you to leave your life; it teaches you how to live it with more wisdom, awareness, and joy.
During the retreat you'll have time to practice, ask questions, and become comfortable doing the technique on your own.
AND, just as important, we will spend time exploring how to integrate the technique into your life and your meditation practice so that you’ll be able to:
The Major Kriya is passed down through a living lineage — from Paramahamsa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi, to Sri Shelliji, to my teacher Goswami Kriyananda, and now from me to you.
When a technique is given through lineage, it carries the darshan — the blessings, wisdom, and spiritual momentum — of all who’ve come before.
You’re not just learning a technique; you’re stepping into a stream that has been flowing for generations.

We do everything we can to keep the price of our retreats affordable. To this end we price retreats to reflect our direct costs without any additional cost for Caren’s time preparing and leading the teaching. At the close of the retreat you will have the opportunity to give Dana—a donation/love offering—directly to Caren for the teachings you received during the retreat. We'll send more info on the practice of Dana in your pre-retreat communications.

If we have to cancel for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
We’ve recently updated our pricing model to more accurately reflect our increased costs. By request, we've also created a Benefactor option. Donating to our scholarship fund gives financial support to others so they can attend the retreat. We appreciate you!
